The arrests were made across the capital, with the highest number, 174, reported in the Mirpur division, followed by 85 in Wari, 61 in Uttara, 57 in Motijheel, 56 in Tejgaon, 47 in Gulshan, 32 in Lalbagh and 31 in Ramna.
Detective Branch (DB) arrested four people, while seven were detained by the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit.
Police also seized 5,445 yaba tablets, 31.2 kg of cannabis, 20 bottles of Eskaf syrup, 21 mobile phones, eight Visa/credit cards issued by different banks, a private car and 146 SIM cards of various operators during the operations, reports BSS.
Legal proceedings against the arrested suspects were underway, the statement said.
