Dhaka, 19 Jan  - Rangpur Riders will take on Sylhet Titans in the Eliminator of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Tuesday at the

Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in a bid to stay alive for a spot in
the final.

The match will start at 1.00 PM and will be aired live on T Sports.

The loser of the game will be knocked out of the BPL final race, while the
winner will advance to Qualifier-2, where they will face the loser of
Qualifier-1 for a place in the final.

Sylhet Titans entered the playoffs as the fourth-placed team, collecting 10
points from 10 matches with five wins and five losses.

Rangpur Riders, widely regarded as one of the strongest teams on paper, had a
mixed tournament. After a strong start, they lost three consecutive matches
toward the end of the group stage, putting their playoff hopes in jeopardy.

However, they recovered in time, finishing third with six wins from 10
matches to secure a place in the final four.

Rangpur have historically struggled in knockout matches, suffering defeats in
crucial games over the last three BPL seasons, including their last playoff
appearances.

But the 2017 champions are confident of breaking that jinx this time around.BSS
