Dhaka, 24 May  - Sri Lanka ordered its batter Kamil Mishra to return to home from Bangladesh due to disciplinary ground, a statement of Sri Lanka cricket said.

Mishra, who is the part of visiting 18-member squad for Bangladesh tour, didn't get chance to play any of the two Tests. He was included in the Sri Lanka's Test squad for the first time in his career.

"Upon his return, Sri Lanka Cricket will conduct a full investigation into the 'violation' and further action will be taken against the player based on the results of the investigation," a statement said.

The statement however didn't reveal anything elaborately. The 21-year old played three T20 Internationals for the country as of now. He

played 10 first class matches and scored 666 runs with six half-centuries.
