252 lower court judges transferred; 12 judges get promotion

Dhaka, June 2 – In a reshuffle in judiciary, the government has transferred a total of 252 lower court judges. 

The Law Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday. 

Among them, 30 are District and Sessions Judges, 38 are Additional District and Sessions Judges and 22 are Joint District and Sessions Judges and 162 are Senior Assistant Judges. 

Besides, the government has promoted 12 Senior Assistant Judges to Joint District and Sessions Judge. - UNB
