Report in case over stone-pelting at metro rail on Nov 1

A Dhaka court here Wednesday set November 1 for submitting probe report in a case filed over pelting of a stone-like object at metro rail.



A Dhaka court here Wednesday  set November 1 for submitting probe report in a case filed over pelting of a stone-like object at metro rail, damaging a glass window, in the area between Shewrapara and Kazipara on April 30.

Wednesday was fixed for submitting the report, but the investigation officer failed to do it. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan later passed the order, resetting the day for submitting the probe report.

Royal Zia, general registration officer of Kafrul police station, confirmed the matter.

A stone-like object hit a glass of the running train at around 11:30 am on April 30. A case was filed with Kafrul Police Station the next day. According to the case documents, a damage of around Tk 10 lakh was caused in the incident.
