The Chamber Judge of Appellate Division has dismissed a writ challenging the process of electing Md Shahabuddin as the next president of Bangladesh.



The Chamber Judge of Appellate Division has dismissed a writ challenging the process of electing Md Shahabuddin as the next president of Bangladesh, and the validity of the Election Commission’s gazette.
Chamber Judge Md Jahangir Hossain passed the order on Tuesday.
Earlier on March 15, the High Court (HC) dismissed two writs challenging the process of electing Md Shahabuddin as the next president of Bangladesh, and the validity of the Election Commission’s gazette.
The High Court bench consisting of Justice Md Khasruzzaman and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir passed the order.
On March 7, Supreme Court lawyer MA Aziz Khan filed the writ petitions with the concerned branch of the High Court.
