Up to 3.2 million people have been forced to flee their homes in Iran since the outbreak of the conflict involving Israel and the United States on 28 February, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The UN refugee agency said the figure is based on preliminary assessments of displaced households across the country.
In a statement, the agency warned that the number could rise further as hostilities continue, pointing to growing humanitarian needs across affected areas.
The situation is expected to place increasing pressure on relief efforts as families seek safety and assistance amid the ongoing conflict.
