At least five people, including a child, were killed in fresh Israeli air strikes targeting camps and tents of displaced Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Civil Defence agency spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal said Israeli fire and air strikes have killed at least 13 people and wounded about 60 others across Gaza over the past 24 hours.

Emergency responders transported three bodies, including that of a child, following an Israeli air strike targeting a camp for displaced people in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, Bassal told media.

A fourth person was killed in a separate attack on a tent housing displaced Palestinians near Khan Younis city in southern Gaza, media said, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, a third air strike in Gaza City’s al-Rimal neighbourhood killed one person and injured three others, according to officials at al-Shifa Hospital.
