NSTU student found hanging on dormitory roof

A student of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) was found hanging on the roof of a residential hall.

Residential students claimed that Aprosi Marma committed suicide.
The deceased was Aprushi Marma, 21, a student of the 14th batch, Sociology Department of the university. He hailed from Khagrachari district.
Residential students found Aprushi in a hanging condition on the roof of Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Malek Ukil Hall around 11pm on Monday. Later, they informed the matter to the university administration.
NSTU assistant proctor Iqbal Hossain Sumon said, “Being informed, we along with our proctorial team visited the spot and found Aprushi in a hanging condition on the roof of the residential hall. Police later recovered the body.”
The body was taken to 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital for post-mortem, he added.
