Prof Azam Khan appointed new proctor of JnU

Professor Dr Md Azam Khan of the Department of Economics has been given additional charge as proctor of Jagannath University (JnU) as its Proctor Professor Dr Mohammad Nasir Uddin has gone abroad for medical treatment.
The appointment was disclosed today in an office order signed by acting Registrar Professor Dr Md Gias Uddin.
Professor Azam Khan's additional charge, subject to Syndicate approval, will take effect from August 12 and remain until further orders, reports BSS.
He will receive allowances and other benefits as per university rules.
