Dr Hemayet Jahan appointed PSTU VC

The government has appointed Professor Dr S.M. Hemayet Jahan of the Department of Entomology at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) as the new Vice-Chancellor of the university.
The appointment was announced in a notification issued today by the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education.
According to the notification, Dr Hemayet Jahan has been appointed under Section 10(1) of the Patuakhali Science and Technology University Act, 2001, reports BSS.
