Some branches of all banks in important places including the capital Dhaka will remain open till 1.00pm on Saturday.



Some branches of all banks in important places including the capital Dhaka will remain open till 1.00pm on Saturday.
The Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued a circular in this regard on Thursday, considering the increased number of financial transactions ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The central bank has asked all banks to continue operations with limited manpower from 9.30am to 1.00pm on April 30 (Saturday). After which bankers have to complete their relevant work by 2.30pm.
Besides, banks in industrial areas remained open on Friday (29 April) from 9.30am to 11.30am.
