Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its scheduled Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka flights BG339 and BG340 until further notice due to unavoidable operational circumstances.

In an emergency press release issued on Saturday night, the national flag carrier advised passengers booked on the flights not to proceed to the airport.

Biman management is assessing the situation, and an update on the rescheduling or status of the flights will be officially announced on Sunday (October 11, 2026).

The airline apologised for the unexpected disruption and the inconvenience caused to passengers and their families.

Affected passengers have been advised to contact the Biman call centre or visit their nearest Biman sales office for assistance, reports UNB.

Further updates will also be published on the airline's official website and communication channels, the press release said.
