OIC General Secretariat Hosts Photo Exhibition on Jammu & Kashmir
Jeddah, On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) hosted a photo exhibition at its headquarters in Jeddah. The exhibition was organized by the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the OIC to mark the fifth anniversary of India’s revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status.
In his speech, H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the OIC, reiterated the Organization’s support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
Additionally, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Jammu and Kashmir and Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Youssef bin Mohammed Aldobeay, reviewed the OIC’s efforts and initiatives in defending the legitimate rights of the Kashmiri people.- OIC News
