Photography exhibition will begin at AFD Saturday Feb 24

Prashanta, an exhibit ot the photographic exhibition which will begin at AFD on Feb 24 Saturday 2024.



A photography exhibition titled Contemplation, featuring works by the students from the photography workshop led by Abir Abdullah will be held at Alliance Française de Dhaka invites on Saturday February 24 at 6 PM 

Prof. Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam, Professor Emeritus, University of Dhaka, Manzarehassin Murad, Filmmaker, Saif Ul Haque, Principal, Saif Ul Haque Sthapati, Tushar Abdullah, Editorial Head, Ekhon TV, Shabnam Ferdousi, Filmmaker will be present the inaugural ceremony at La Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka.'CONTEMPLATION - A group of 15 participants from diverse backgrounds attended a photography course conducted by internationally renowned photographer, Abir Abdullah, at the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka. Upon completing the course, they are ready to showcase their 15 photo stories (150 photos) titled 'CONTEMPLATION’- on various topics, including contemporary social issues, stories of marginalized communities, self-reflection, climate issues, and more. Each photographer has chosen a personally significant topic to them and will display their unique abilities in capturing images. The exhibition is scheduled at the Alliance Francaise Gallery Dhanmondi Branch. The exhibition is scheduled to open on 24 February at 6pm and will remain open for all from 3pm-9pm every day till 28 February 2024.'
