22 officers promoted to assistant secretary

The government has promoted 22 administrative officers to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre) posts.


“The government has promoted them, following the instruction of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), and appointed officer on special duty (OSD) to the public administration ministry,” according to a notification.

The public administration ministry issued the notification signed by senior assistant secretary Shifa Nusrat in this regard here yesterday.

It said the promoted officers are: Md Sharif Ullah, Md Main Uddin, Md Abdul Hye, Md Gulzar Alam, Mohammad Shaheenur Islam, Badrunnahar, Bimal Chandra Talukdar, Fatema Begum, Md Sekandar Ali Khan, Mohammad Abu Naser, Md Abdur Gafur Sardar, Md Abul Kalam Azad, Sikdar Md Nasrat Ali, Md Bhasani Mirza, Md Abul Kalam Azad, Shamsunnahar Begum, Mollah Khasruzzaman, Prodip Kumar Biswas, Mollika Khatun, Mohammad Raziur Rahman, Md Safayet Hossain and Md Imdadul Islam, reports BSS. 

The notification said that all the administrative officers have been serving their duties in different ministries and divisions.

It further said that the notification was issued following the approval of the appropriate authorities, which will come to effect immediately.
