228 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Dhaka and adjoining districts to maintain law and order situation.



228 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Dhaka and adjoining districts to maintain law and order situation.

Shariful Islam, public relations officer (PRO) at BGB headquarters confirmed the matter on Monday morning (November 6).

He said a total of 228 platoons of BGB were deployed across the country to control the law and order situation.

The second day of the countrywide two-day blockade, enforced by the BNP, Jamaat and like-minded opposition parties, is underway.
