2 motorcyclists killed as tree branch falls on them in Magura

Two motorcyclists were killed when a tree branch fell on them during a storm on the Sreepur–Magura road at Keshtapur in Sreepur upazila of Magura district on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Pranto Dutta, 25, son of Bhajan Dutta, and Mahafuz of Nakol village in the upazila.
The accident occurred around 8:00 pm when a tree branch fell on a motorcycle carrying the two riders while they were passing through the area during the storm, leaving one dead on the spot and another injured, said Shaheen Mia, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station, reports UNB.
The injured Mahafuz, died on the way to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
