Three killed in Ishwardi road accident

Three persons including a woman and her child were killed and another was injured in a fatal road accident in front of a filling station of Dashuria union in Ishwardi upazila of the district today.
The deceased were Suborna Khatun, 30, wife of former BGB member Mafizul Islam, their minor girl Purnata and Anisur Rahman, a vendor and son of late Abed Ali Mondal of the upazila.
The accident occurred when a covered van rammed into them as Mafizul and his family members are buying litchi from vendor Anisur in the area while they were returning home at Natore from Kushtia by a motorbike.
The accident left the three dead on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to upazila health complex for autopsies. The injured were admitted to the same health complex, reports BSS.
Legal action has been taken in this regard.
