3 Brothers Tragically Killed in Barguna Road Crash

In a heartbreaking incident, three brothers lost their lives in a tragic collision between a motorcycle and a bus on the Patharghata-Mathbaria road in the Sonabangla area of Rayhanpur union, Patharghata upazila, on Saturday morning.

The victims were identified as Naimuzzaman Shuvo, Shanto, and Nadim, sons of Nasir Khan from Baishkura village in Tikikata union, Mathbaria upazila, Pirojpur district.

According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Yakub Hossain of Patharghata Police Station, the crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. when a Rajib Paribahan bus, en route from Patharghata to Dhaka, collided head-on with the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction. The three brothers, who were riding the motorcycle, were killed instantly in the impact.

The bus driver and his assistant fled the scene following the accident, but the police have since seized the vehicle for investigation, said the OC.

Authorities are continuing to search for the individuals responsible for the fatal crash.
