Fire at computer market: Traders fear huge losses

A fire broke out at a computer market in the capital’s Elephant Road area of Dhaka on Monday night.



A fire broke out at a computer market in the capital’s Elephant Road area of Dhaka on Monday night.
Being informed, ten fire fighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. The fire originated on the fourth floor of the nine-storey Sheltech Sierra Computer City near the Bata Signal intersection.
During visit to the spot around 10.00am on Tuesday, it was seen that traders were waiting to enter their shops. They fear huge losses of the fire and it may be around Tk 25/30 lakh.
