Three people were killed after an unknown vehicle hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Chauddagram upazila in Cumilla district on Wednesday night.

The deceased were Limon, 17, Robiul Alam, 16, and Sifat Hossain, 16.
Mia Bazar Highway Police Outpost in-charge AKM Manzurul Haque Akhanda said an unknown vehicle hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chhupura area at about 9:00 pm, leaving its three passengers dead on the spot.
At that time, the auto-rickshaw driver Alauddin was injured.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
Legal steps in this regard are under process, he added.
