2 killed in Gazipur road crash

Two people were killed and four others injured when a covered van hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Kaliakoir-Mawna road at Kanchanpur in Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur district on Saturday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident occurred around 11:30 am when the covered van crashed into a Kaliakoir-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying five people, leaving two people dead on the spot and four others injured, said Shahidul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kaliakoir Police Station, reports UNB.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
