An expatriate was killed in a tragic road accident in Pakundia upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Rubel Mia, 26, son of Khurshid Mia of Kahetdhandul village under Charfaradi union in the upazila. He had been living and working in Saudi Arabia.

The accident occurred around 12:30 pm on the Mirzapur-Mathkhola road near Mirzapur Shashanghat.
