Two killed in Keraniganj road crash

Two people were killed and two others injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Mawa highway at Teghoria of South Keraniganj in Dhaka early Wednesday.


The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Saiful Alam, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station, said the accident occurred around 1 am near Mehera Petrol Pump when the truck hit the auto-rickshaw, leaving two people dead on the spot and two others injured, reports UNB.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
