6 Killed, Including Family Members, in Bus Crashes

At least six people, including three members of the same family, were killed in separate road accidents involving passenger buses in Sunamganj. Three others were injured.

In one incident, four people — including a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver and three members of a single family — died after a bus hit the vehicle in Jalalpur area of Chhatak upazila on the Sunamganj-Sylhet road.

The crash occurred in front of Jalalpur Government Primary School on Monday afternoon.

In another incident earlier in the day, an unidentified woman was killed after being run over by a bus on the Dirai-Madanpur road.

Police said the injured were taken to nearby hospitals, and further details are being collected.
